New Hampshire Therapeutic Boarding Schools

The oversight and regulation of residential care facilities is done by the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services and promotes safety and proper care of residents of each program. The Health Facility Licensing Unit inspects and issues licenses for alternative and therapeutic programs in the state.

A private New Hampshire schools is not required to be accredited but are encouraged to do so.
